In this miscellany we argue for lowering the date of Ry 547 and A-20-216, two inscriptions referring to a king Seleukos, to the early second century BC. This not only has consequences for the immediate context of the inscriptions but also for the synchronisms serving as linchpins for the chronology of the Old South Arabian script.
