This paper examines and edits two funerary inscriptions preserved in the Kindergarten "Herrenhaus" Fischl in Klagenfurt. The first inscription (CIL VI 21974), a funerary stele, which previously was considered a modern copy of a monument from the city of Rome, is identified as original. The second inscription, a hitherto unpublished funerary slab whose provenance is unknown, is published here for the first time and recognised as a columbarium inscription from the city of Rome.
