Abstract

There is a controversy discussion about the division of the province Illyricum into Illyricum Superius = Dalmatia and Illyricum Inferius = Pannonia. But it can be assumed that the division took part during the reorganisation in 9/10 AD after an appropriate organisation by Tiberius.
