Abstract

Reedition of the only known bilingual inscription of Albania (found in Pljočë, probably ancient Amantia), with the help of a drawing of Carl Patsch, discoverer of the inscription in the year 1900. It seems that a fund (for the purchase?) of grain was redesignated by a municipal magistrate. As an imposition of reparation and a fine was refused by the culprit a Roman authority appears to have been asked to intervene, whose decision could have been written on the inscription as a subscriptio.
