Abstract

The first decades of the 1 st century B.C. of the Dacian history are a shadowy period, still insufficiently clarified. For a group of scholars that was initially restricted in number but has become more numerous, the facts have acquired a clearer outline
by being integrated into a new historie al reconstruction, focused on King Oroles, who
is mentioned by lustin XXXII 3, 16.
