Abstract

In a reeently published report on Japanese exeavations at Akoris some Greek and
Coptie ostraka found at this site are presented. Their provenanee gives these texts some special interest, as they co me from apart of Egypt where ostraka are rare. As we feel that the transeripts are not satisfaetory, we present our own (new) transeripts of the Greek ostraka made on the basis of the plates aeeompanying the ed. prine.
