This article presents an edition of an unpublished Christian epitaph in Greek that likely comes from either Armant (Hermonthis) or Esna (Latopolis) in Upper Egypt. The inscription commemorates a woman named Rachel and is inscribed atop a finely decorated tombstone that depicts an eagle between two pilasters.
