Abstract

The epigraphic collection of the Department of Ancient History at the University of Graz preserves two 19th century squeezes without any further description.  It can be shown that they originate from Ephesus and that they display more complete texts of IK Ephesos 1891A and 287.7 than previously known. A new edition is provided; which presents evidence that the hitherto unknown or contested addressees of these two honorary inscriptions are in fact Commodus and Annia Galeria Faustina; respectively.
