Remarks on Weekdays in Late Antiquity Occurring in Documentary Sources

Abstract

This article tries to find an answer to the question, whether weekday indications
occurring in documentary texts from late antiquity match modern computations backwards and whether they can be relied upon as helpful, reliable evidence for establishing the precise date of incompletely preserved documents.
