Α Greek Late Antique Heracleopolite Land Register with Numbered Parcels and Payments

Abstract

The paper presents the first edition of a papyrus preserving two fragments of a Greek four-column land register, with parcels identified by number and name, and payments made either in money or in kind. The document originates from the Heracleopolite nome of Egypt and dates from the fifth century AD.
