Abstract

The paper presents the edition of eight fragmentary documentary papyri, entirely or partially in Latin, further documenting the use of that language in Late Antique Egypt: ChLA XLIV 1304 verso and 1307, fully Latin official documents; ChLA XLIV 1262, 1286, XLV 1336, Greek texts with Latin dating formulae; ChLA XLIV 1285, XLV 1350 recto, Greek documents with Latin tags; P.Vindob. L 64, a tabellionic document with di-emu subscription.
